The national housing market is fragile but improving, while the real estate in Cumberland, Harnett and Hoke who appeared to be healthy in a more s environment.

“Everything is on the positive side,” said Paul Bishop, who was Vice President of research for the National Association of Realtors, “but we need more positive.”

That’s what a crowd of about 200 Realtors and others interested in the review of the year and careful peeking ahead were told during the second annual State of the Real estate market which is held in the Conference room the Holiday Inn Bordeaux

Bishop, a frequent speaker about the trend of the market, said a number of National indicators show improvements continue in the housing market over the 2012 and 2013. Consumer confidence remains a significant hurdle, because many continue to be passionate about the job market, ongoing effects of the volatility of the housing crisis and the economy still throw.
